Hood for use with SR 500 / SR 500 EX / SR 700 filter-ventilation units. The SR 601 hood, together with the battery-powered SR 500 / SR 500 EX or SR 700 ventilator and approved filters, is part of Sundström's ventilator-powered respiratory protective equipment. The breathing hose of the hood is connected to the filter-ventilation unit equipped with filters. The overpressure created in the hood prevents particles and other pollutants from entering the hood. The device can be used as an alternative to filter protection in all situations in which its use is recommended. This is especially true for situations where the work is intensive, hot or long-term.
